Position Papers

The Preschool Directors Association of South Australia have a number of Portfolio Groups that meet on a regular basis to develop a range of Position Papers to assist in the informed input that is regularly requested by DECS.

These papers provide the foundation for the development of statewide policy and provision in South Australia . Such Position Papers are formulated as often as is necessary and reflect the current thinking within preschool education and care in this state and overseas.

Members seek to inform themselves of current methodology and relevant trends to ensure that input provided to DECS is of the highest standard.

The overall outcome that is sought remains the provision of excellent early childhood curriculum and care in South Australia .
